Sachin's Lookalike

And not the one they used to show in the crowds in Mumbai.

Above is the Sachin Tendulkar (Had to say it as a formality).

Below that is not a picture of Sachin when he was young (that had to be your first thought).
He's a 19 year old playing for Rajasthan- Robin Bist. He's just made his Ranji debut this season.

Expect big things. He looks like the Master. That's Enough.

I have to keep a track on this guy.

His Cricinfo player profile:

Oh, and the first time I have posted twice in a single day.

Show me the $MONEY$

Most people would have heard about the money spent on the IPL by now.

A little ridiculous?

MSD, sure he's great but 6 crore for 50 days of cricket. That's some serious cash.

Anyway, nearly everyone's harping about the money thing so I'll stop now.

Ishant Sharma and Shoaib Akhtar opening the bowling together should be a great sight.

I'll still support Delhi though.

One because I'm from Delhi.

Two, they are definitely the underdogs.

But still one of the better Twenty20 teams, skill wise, not how much money was bid on them.

And someone told me the Bangalore franchise got a little confused, they thought it was a Test-Test tournament. Dravid, Kallis, Chanderpaul, Jaffer, Kumble. Must have thought, wow thats a great team for the tournament.

I'm still looking forward to the tournament though. Sachin-Jayasuria, Ishant-Akhtar, Ganguly-Ponting, Symonds-Afridi. I wouldn't have dreamt of seeing these guys playing together in one team.

I hope the IPL is as good as it promises to be. It sure has the resources to be a success.

The money is still ridiculous though.

Things that must be said

I am not regular. Not at all.
And I'm not proud of it.

I hate applications. HATE HATE HATE.
They are pissing off, unrewarding, and plain boring.

And I have begun to start reading a huge number of cricket blogs.
Hilarious, and definitely worth the time I spend on them, which is a lot, by the way.

India takes on Sri Lanka in a couple of hours, and college starts in a couple of hours after that. That means I should definitely use these couple of hours to sleep, or else I'll miss a couple of hours worth off attendance, which means I'll get a couple of attendance backs sooner or later.

I don't like the word couple.
Nor do I like couples (With Valentine's Day around, I definitely hate them, considering I have been single since like ages now).
It reminds me of physics (natural qualification for my hateful feelings to arise).

I think I need some help.
Any kind will do.
I feel mad.
Maybe I have gone a little mad.
Which brings me back to why I should write more regularly, it helps me focus my madness.
Organized madness, but madness nonetheless.

I think I made this blog just to write about stuff which I couldn't care to tell anyone.

I need something, something I could wake up every morning to look forward to.
And I have no idea what that could be.

अलविदा।

Couples suck.

Homecoming

Hello once again blog world.
I am back.
In Delhi, that is.
News from last week:

Exams went alright. Could have been much worse.
Home (Gurgaon/Delhi) is AWESOME.
I love winters-The North Indian ones, the ones where you actually need a jacket.
Ghar ka khana is too good.
Oh, India take on Australia day after tomorrow, I can't wait for that either.
Kick some kangaroo ass, men in blue.
Narendra Modi strikes back and the Congress is made to look foolish.
And new years is coming up, and I still have no idea what my plans are. If I have plans, that is.

Anyway, I got back here late 21st night. Three of my friends were waiting outside my house... Freezing, because my parents had left for the airport, and they wanted to surprise me and had no idea my flight was delayed by like an hour and a half. Lucky them.
But whatever, I was damn happy to see them, and the beer that they had got with them:D.
We went for a bit of a drive, and somehow my dog managed to follow us there. I am suspicious of him now, or maybe he just wanted some beer too.

Thats about it, I had nothing to do, apart from putting on the xbox, so I decided to update this space.
Merry Christmas to anyone who reads this. Hope Santa brings a lot of goodies.
Only if you all have been good children, remember.
Cheers.
